Requirements: Tape measure and a pencil
Installation: NEEDS TWO OR MORE PEOPLE
Step 1: Cleaning
Ensure surface is clean and free of any residue. If applying to a painted surface, wash with warm water and detergent, then rinse with clean water and cloth to remove any soap residue. Allow minimum of two hours to dry, before applying Creative Mural.
Step 2: Measure up
Using a tape measure and soft pencil, draw a line where the top of the mural will be positioned. Make sure that the distance from left to right are equal and that the distance from the ceiling allows enough for the height of the Creative Mural.
Step 3: Positioning
DO NOT REMOVE ALL THE BACKING PAPER OF THE CREATIVE MURAL YET!
Lay the Creative Mural face down (ensuring the suface is clean) and peel back the top 10cm of the backing paper and fold back to expose the adhesive. Carefully lift the mural into the desired position and stick the top 10cm of exposed adhesive onto the wall. If the positioning is incorrect, simply peel off and reposition. If you are satisfied with the positioning, using your hands, lightly rub over this part until it is affixed securly.
Step 4: How to remove the backing paper.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Be very careful not to damage backing paper, as this needs to be retained if you'd like to reposition the mural at a later date. Now the Creative Mural is hinged into position, lift the Creative Mural from both ends (using additional people in the middle for longer murals). Starting at the top, peel the backing paper off slowly in a downward direction small amounts at a time. Let the mural drop and... working from the middle of the mural to the outside edges and using only the palm of your hands, rub the print onto the wall. Gently smoothing out any bubbles as you go. NOTE: If wrinkles occur, simply lift the section of the mural and continue to smooth out.
To clean, use a soft, damp cloth with warm water to remove most marks. DO NOT scrub hard or use cleaning fluids. Although the fabric is very durable, avoid scratching with harsh or abrasive materials. No warrantees will be given if there is evidence of using cleaning fluid or abrasive materials.
